Goal Setting in High School - Freely Reading

Lessons from Oz. Find your brain, courage, heart, & of course, some joy!

Very few stories inspire me like The Wizard of Oz. From the resourceful, feminine heroine, Dorothy, to the Wicked Witch of the West and her evil schemes, this story gets me all fired up.

At 5 years old, I took away:

‘Only bad witches are ugly’ and  ‘Begone, before somebody drops a house on you, too!’

And those damn monkeys terrified me.

At 25, I learned, ‘You had the power all along my dear’ and ‘There’s no place like home’.

It’s weird which lessons stuck with me and how well I heard the lesson.

The discussion in the video below is about HOW to figure out what it is you truly value and desire based on your personality type. I promote the use of the  Jung Typology Test™ and the  Keirsey Temperament Sorter (KTS-II). Both resources guided me to some of my better choices in life. I love my job and my job loves me.

What’s your favorite lesson in The Wizard of Oz? I’d love to hear!
